The Finch is the result of a 4 year study into designing a robot to inspire & delight students learning computer science by providing them a physical representation of their code. The Finch has support for dozens of programming languages, including those appropriate for students as young as 5 years old! Finch was developed to catalyze a wide range of computer science learning experiences, from an entry into the basics of computational thinking all the way to writing richly interactive programs.
